Inbound SMS Pricing
To receive SMS from your staff, students or customers, you need to lease a dedicated inbound (virtual) number from directSMS. These are not premium numbers so mobile subscribers are not charged any extra fees for sending SMS to them.
directSMS charge a one off setup charge for each new number. The fee depends on how easy the number is to remember. i.e. 0428 001 001 will be more expensive than 0428 823 437. The memorable numbers are in higher demand.
There is also a flat number rental fee of $50.00 (inc. GST) charged monthly. Unlike our competitors, we do not charge by the message, i.e. you will pay the same fee if you receive 100 or 100,000 messages a month. The table below shows all costs.
